Globalization of the present century has created a global village connecting people of various regions, socio-economic, political and cultural backgrounds. Today International relations is about interconnectedness among population of different countries. In the recent years where government is becoming more people-centric, one of crucial agents of diplomacy are the people residing in the country. This has made Diaspora an important agent of diplomacy. Again, globalization has enhanced the role of public in foreign affairs and Diaspora plays an important role in promoting good relations between nations. Diasporas communities also rallies for different policies that can bring about significant breakthrough in relations between nations.
